Despite reports that Sir Paul McCartney and longtime girlfriend Nancy Shevell are set to wed in just days, Access Hollywood has learned there will be no nuptials for the couple this weekend.
A source close to the couple told Access the reported wedding at the former Beatle’s farmhouse in Sussex, England will not take place this weekend.
McCartney, 69, and Shevell, 51, who announced their engagement in May, first started dating during the summer of 2007. This will be the third marriage for the music icon.
He wed Linda McCartney in 1969, and the couple remained married until Linda died of breast cancer in 1998.
In 2002, he tied the knot with Heather Mills. However, McCartney filed for divorce in 2006 and their divorce was finalized in 2008.
McCartney has five children from his previous relationships, ranging in age from 48 to 7 years old.

McCartney, 68, and Shevell, 51 – who hit the red carpet together on Monday night for the Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City – first started dating during the summer of 2007.
